Water

We all know we should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily but we have assembled some interesting facts that illustrate why this is so important.

Water is important to all living things. Up to 60% of the human body is water, the brain is composed of about 70% water, blood is 82% and the lungs are nearly 90% water. Water is the principal constituent of the fluid that surround and are within all living cells. (Nutrition Almanac) Only oxygen is more important than water in sustaining life.

Drinking sufficient amounts of water daily is the best trea™ ent for fluid retention. When your body does not receive adequate amounts of water it panics in a sense, it begins to store water (retain) in case it’s depleted again. Salt and sodium rich foods, imbalanced female hormones, detoxification and poor cardiac function are the most common causes for bloating.

To replace lost water, the body needs almost 3 quarts or close to 3 liters daily. When the body becomes overheated, 2 million sweat glands excrete perspiration, which of course is 99% water. Small amounts of water are consistently lost throughout the day, via breathing (exhaling) and the eyes (tear ducts lubricate the eyes 25 times each minute). Exercise, salt intake, and high climates may increase the need for more water.

The kidneys cannot function properly without enough water. Most of the water is removed in the Kidneys through which the entire blood supply passes and is filtered up to 15 times each hour. When they do not work at capacity, some of their work is dumped onto the liver. One of the liver's primary functions is to metabolize stored fat into usable energy for the body, if it’s carrying some of the load of the kidneys it cannot work most efficiently.

Water helps flush out waste. It can help relieve constipation. The colon is a primary internal water source, when the body gets too little water it robs from its internal source the result…constipation. When the body is re-hydrated then normal bowel function can return.

Water has a very high surface tension. In other words it’s sticky and elastic, it tends to clump together rather than spread out into a film. Surface tension is allows for the water and its dissolved substances to move through tiny blood vessels in our bodies. Water is considered the "universal solvent" in that wherever water goes, either through the ground or your body it takes along with it valuable chemicals, minerals and nutrients.

The sensation of thirst is often misinterpreted as hunger. Often times when your experiencing hunger pangs you may actually be thirsty and/or dehydrated. The brain recognizes a low level of energy within the body and signals needs, we often cannot differentiate between the need for food and the need as thirst and we assume we need to eat.

Oxygen Therapy
and Oral Oxygen Therapy

In the human body, over 90% of all pathogens are anaerobic, i.e. liking no or low oxygen environments because they metabolise sugar to get their energy from glycolysis. If we examine our lifestyles, we find that over 50% of the population are shallow breathers. Couple that with spending a major percentage of our time each day working in buildings that recirculate the same old air without reasonable fresh air exchange, constantly depletes the available O2, and continuously increases carbon dioxide (CO2) – not to mention viruses and bacteria concentrations continuously proliferating due to low O2 levels.

Now, if all that isn’t enough, let’s look at the outdoor environment. Oxygen is 50% of the earth’s crust – 47% of the earth’s soil is supposed to be our planet’s oxygen reserve, 42% of all vegetation is composed of oxygen, 85% of seawater is oxygen, 46% of igneous rock is oxygen, and 65% of our bodies is oxygen.

Plant photosynthesis is the primary vehicle for replacing oxygen. However, with the daily destruction of the rainforests, the destruction of other great forests from acid and alkaline rain, industrialization, and burning of fossil fuel for heat, electricity, and transportation, heavy utilization of herbicides and pesticides (1.6 billion tons per year – 10 lb. For every man, woman, and child yielding more cancer causing agents for a one year old child than the EPA recommends for a lifetime) our rich oxygen atmosphere has diminished from 32% to as little as 12 – 13% in some large cities – an average of 19 to 21% by volume overall. If our atmosphere drops below 7% oxygen, oxygen respiration cannot continue and anaerobic life will flourish.

The famous marine explorer, Jacques Cousteau, warned us over forty years ago that the oceans were dying due to pollution. The ocean plankton and rainforest vegetation are the world’s main sources of re-oxygenation. We can spend billions, and 100’s of billions of dollars on things that pollute the earth and almost nothing on regeneration. Simultaneously, our bodies and respiratory systems struggle from the same assault from toxic amounts of tar, acid, smoke, rubber, carbon, hydrocarbons, toxic heavy metals, and bacteria and viruses that thrive in a low oxygen environment.

In his 1930’s book, Toxemia Explained, Dr. Tilden explained to his patients that anaerobic microorganisms:

a. Gnawed away at the joints causing inflammatory diseases such as arthritis.

b. Give off calcium waste products that cement bones together and lodge in the kidneys, liver, and circulatory (ever heard of calcium channel blockers for high blood pressure) system.

c. With bile, form stones in the kidney, liver, and gallbladder, as well as deposit plaque on vein and arterial walls (high blood pressure and varicose veins).

d. Cling to the lining of the nervous system and cause shorts in the transmission of electrical messages from the brain.

e. Can attack and infiltrate cells restricting blood and oxygen supply to the point that the cell loses specific function and potentially becomes cancerous.

Otto Warburg, the recipient of the Nobel Prize in 1931 and again in 1944 for his discovery of oxygen and hydrogen transferring enzymes said, "Cancer has only one prime cause. It is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of the body’s cells by an anaerobic cell (i.e. oxygen deficiency).


Oxygen Therapy

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), March 1888, and reprinted in 1988, "during the lightning storm, the high potential electricity produces hydrogen peroxide." When there is high potential electricity over oxygen it converts oxygen into ozone (O3), this ozone oxidizes environmental pollutants and cleans the air. Water is H2O, hydrogen peroxide is H2O2. God knew what he was doing, have no doubt! When ultraviolet light from the sun penetrates to the oxygen layer around the earth, it turns O2 into O3. Ozone is a bluish gas and that is why the sky is blue when the air is clean!

In 1870, Andrew Smith, MD, won the essay prize of the Alumni Association of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, NY, for his article entitled, "Oxygen Gas as a Remedy For Disease." Dr. Smith cited the French physician Caillens as being the first doctor to administer oxygen as a therapeutic trea™ ent in 1783. Since that time, many experts have concluded that the lack of oxygen at the cellular level in human cells and tissue is linked to a huge variety – if not all – health problems and disease. Otto Warburg proved it. Various supplement therapies, from ozone to hydrogen peroxide have been reported to have remarkable and even astounding results. However, these therapies should ONLY be attempted under the supervision of an experienced health care professional.

Oxygen is the only element capable of combining with almost every other element to form essential life components such as proteins, carbohydrates, and water that produce energy, defend against pathogens and repair tissue. Oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, and sulfur are the five basic elements of all life.

Today, we know that 90% of the body’s oxygen comes from the lungs, skin respiration represents about 2% of the oxygen and the remaining comes from ionic transfer from food and internal processes. Researcher in breathing exercises and their effect on disease, indicate that oxygen saturation of the cells has a positive benefit to the tissue and entire organism and defends against pathogenic disease.

The average person’s diet today is high in processed foods that are concentrated in saturated fats, sugars, and chemical additives and low in fiber, oxygen, enzymes, and water. A diet of processed food (i.e. junk foods) require copious amounts of oxygen for metabolism. Because these "junk foods" cannot be fully metabolized (oxidized), it leads to an accumulation of toxins and fat at the cellular level over time causing degenerative disease by creating an environment for anaerobic pathogen populations to flourish.

At rest, the human body uses 250ml of oxygen per minute. Healthy lungs can provide up to 6080ml of oxygen per minute. When we are very active – i.e. under load – the body uses 3000 to 4000ml of oxygen per minute. However, when we are compromised with bad diets, environmental pollution, the need for certain pharmaceutical drugs, and overloaded with stress, an acid condition can set in which would require up to 50% of our oxygen to be utilized in defense rather than energy production. With everything that each one of us must cope with on a daily basis, oxygen supplementation is not only essential but the thrust of scientific and medical research.

In 1920, the first stabilized oxygen was invented and considered by experts to be the greatest breakthrough in medical history. Dr. William F. Koch, MD, PhD, was praised by the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association. Dr. W. Dow, founder of Dow Chemical, called Dr. Koch "the greatest living doctor, a modern Pasteur."

Dr. Edward C. Rosenow, Bacteriological Research, Longview Medical Hospital, Cleveland OH, Professor Emeritus, Experimental Bacteriology, Mayo Foundation, and several other famous doctors and researchers have studied the effect of increasing the body’s oxygen by oral applications of hydrogen peroxide and ozone therapies.

Professor and Doctor of Medicine, Nasser Drakhsan of Heinrich Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany was influenced by the cardiovascular surgeon A. Pakdaman in 1967 to research the use of oxygen as a therapy. Pakdaman developed a process that was successful in enriching water up to 60mg O2/L. Prior to that time, only 10mg O2/L had been achieved. His process used an ion physical linkage of molecular O2 and H2O molecules. His research revealed that the oxygen rich water decreased nitrates, reduced oxidative stress, increased oxygen levels and assisted the body in removal of toxins, especially the effluents of the chemical industry and agriculture.

Double blind studies done with Pakdaman’s oxygen enhanced water demonstrated significant improvement in blood and immune system function.

"Oral oxygen therapy" he says, "is not widely used. It is surprising that the therapy, which has no side effects and does not need constant doctor’s supervision, has not found a wider audience."

Dr. Pakdaman found that "oral oxygen is absorbed by diffusion and osmosis through the cells in the stomach and intestines and reaches the bodies blood circulation through the portal vein. Such additional oxygen can perform all the same functions as the oxygen absorbed through the lungs. Energies are increased and the quality of life can be improved."

This represents a delimitation in oxygen supplement production. This Super Oxygenated water is created through a unique and proprietary process using a biomass to bond oxygen atoms to water molecules. This Super Oxygenated water is the first and ONLY biological oxygen supplement.

This Super Oxygenated water has a significantly higher freezing point than tap water or distilled water – a further indication of the altered form of Super Oxygenated water, i.e. additional oxygen atoms.

Boiling This Super Oxygenated water to reduce volume and then repeating testing verifies the stability of Super Oxygenated water as a bonded and stable form of oxygen supplementation. This Super Oxygenated water has a shelf life of four years.

Most oxygen supplements use oxychlorine or hypochloride compounds to bond the oxygen molecules. Unfortunately, these compounds generally contain high concentrations of chlorites, chlorine dioxide (ClO2), and chlorates (ClO3). There is some evidence that these chemicals may convert to their nascent state, releasing O2 into the body, when acted upon by the hydrochloric acid (HCl) of the stomach. However, these products have short shelf lives and a rather miserable taste. In addition, the long-term cumulative effect of these chemicals in the body is uncertain.

Biochemical Oxygen Demand

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D.) is a measure of the quantity of oxygen used by microorganisms in the oxidation of organic matter. In other words, B.O.D. is the amount of oxygen used as fuel for a cell to do its job or jobs such as growth, regeneration, repair, and energy production.

In two separate laboratories, several culture samples were prepared with equal amounts of cell culture and identical nutrients. The nutrients are necessary for cell proliferation (cell growth). These preparations were placed in specially designed equipment that creates a precise measure of oxygen and carbon dioxide levels. The various samples were then activated with tap water, distilled water, or Super Oxygenated water Biocatalyst water. Finally, the activated samples were sealed and monitored for the duration of the study.

Cells need oxygen, nutrients, and water for regeneration. As nutrients are utilized oxygen is consumed (oxidation) giving off carbon dioxide (CO2). By measuring the oxygen available in a controlled space and the amount of oxygen utilized from the space, the efficiency of a biocatalyst for use as an additional oxygen supply for growth of living cells can be verified.

In our test we see that the demand for oxygen from the controlled air space above the tap and distilled water samples increased over a ten-day period. On the contrary, the controlled air space above the Super Oxygenated water sample was decreased over the same ten-day period. The growth of bacteria in all samples remained equal.

Since we know that fuel must have oxygen to be consumed by bacteria cultures (as evidenced by the continuous growth and life of the cells), and since the demand for oxygen from the air space above the samples was less in the Super Oxygenated water samples, we know that the oxygen necessary for the bacteria to live and reproduce comes from the Super Oxygenated water Product.

On day two of the test, as cell growth and activity increased over the other samples, Super Oxygenated water showed a significant increase in oxygen demand, indicating that Super Oxygenated water actually stimulated metabolic activity (activity at the cell level). This suggests one of two possibilities. The first possibility is suggested as a much more efficient utilization of fuel with less metabolic waste. The second possibility is that a portion of the metabolic waste has been converted (or recycled) to a fuel source. Therefore, this product has the potential for decreasing stress and breakdown while obviously enhancing performance.

What does this mean to the individual? It means that Super Oxygenated water can enhance any metabolic activity that responds to increased oxygen. Some examples of this enhancement are seen by:
